This is a manifesto for all abilities. Disability is not a lack of ability.
Inclusion means being included and accepted no matter the differences. Innovation is a responsibility. We can’t pause to observe, we must feel, act and become in the making.

Small Meet Large has gone into existence to improve the world and make products more accessible to all abilities. This is for all the superheroes out there that push the limits to their abilities. You deserve better.
We design and ideate products and services that are accessible to, and usable by, as many people as possible.
Every expedition needs a team. The SML Incubator collaborates with designers, engineers and entrepreneurs on a mission to help empower the small to meet large through adaptive and inclusive design.
There have always been leaders and followers in our society, and one can examine this instinctual pattern through the earliest ages of child play. The strongest, most energetic and resourceful child will often take charge and the other children will follow. Yet, as we become older and enter into more complex situations, leadership and strength can be redefined.
Our mission is to design for all abilities and level the playing field for the future leaders that redefine strength. We build inclusive and adaptive brands that are aligned to the three core SML values: empathy, creative play, and science.
Empathy
In order for your message to resonate with your audience, it’s important to first listen, understand and empathize. Step into those shoes, and understand it from their point of view.
When you care, it shows.
Creative Play
Adults have a sandbox too. In order to give your brand a pulse, play needs to happen first. It can be as simple as seeing visual cues on the sidewalk or sharing a wall of inspiration.
Life’s not that serious.
Science
Empathy and play will take you so far, therefore science is integral. An understanding of motivation and emotion will help you develop the muscle and tissue to your product design.
Don’t forget the research.
Everything starts small.
